Two students, Liu Zhiyuan (D2) and Zhu Yunxin (D1) participated the 15th lecture meeting, held by Eastern Japan Branch of Society for Biotechnology. The lecture meeting including the oral presentation andstudent’s discussion. At the seminar, we received the constructive comments andadvice not only from an academic aspect but also the industrial point of view.
At the Water and Environment Technology (WET) Conference 2020-online, ZHU Yunxin (D1) won the WET excellent presentation award with the research title “A Light-assisted Bioprocess with Optimized Illumination Condition for Efficient Methane Production from Ammonium-rich Waste”. Congratulations!
LIU NA and ZHENG HANYING (D3) successfully graduated from the University of Tsukuba and received the Ph. D. A farewell party was held for two graduates.
Four lab members including Zhang Nan (D3), Zhu Yunxin (M2), Zhang Cheng(M2) and Akiho Yagi (M2) successfully graduated from University of Tsukuba.Zhang Nan (D3) received a major award from the dean of the lifeand environment graduate school. Zhang Cheng (M2) received a major award from the chair of Agro-Bioresource Sciences and Technology.
At the 8th colloquium of Eastern Japan Branch of SBJ, ZHU YUNXIN made the research presentation and won the student encouragement award. Congratulations!
We held a year-end party of our laband everyone hada great time. The newly joined studentsgave a variety of wonderful performance. Wish you a bright and happy New Year.
The environmental engineering course briefing session was held for Agro-Biological Resource Sciences students at University of Tsukuba. Our laboratory members introduced the research contents at the meeting. The students actively participated and be interest in the presented research, curriculum and campus life.
Two M2 students, Zhu Yunxin and Zhang Cheng participated the 14th lecture meeting, held by Eastern Japan Branch of Society for Biotechnology. The whole discussion was divided in to the oral presentation and student’s discussion. At the seminar, we received the constructive comments and advice not only from an academic aspect but also the industrial point of view. The experiences and academic knowledge shared by professionals contributed to a comprehensive understanding of our research and widened our vision upon the future development of biotechnology field.
At the International Conference on Environmental Protection and Climate Change 2019 (Barcelona, Spain), LIU NA（D3）made research presentation and won the Best presentation award.Congratulations!
As a part of University-High School Collaboration activity, 21 First-year grade students from Sakado Senior High School, affiliated to University of Tsukuba visited our laboratory. We introduced the main research field of our lab and gave a demonstration of the dye photo-degradation using the novel photocatalyst which developed in our lab under real solar light. During the visiting, students listened to the introduction carefully and discussed actively.
