We held a year-end party of our laband everyone hada great time. The newly joined studentsgave a variety of wonderful performance. Wish you a bright and happy New Year.
The environmental engineering course briefing session was held for Agro-Biological Resource Sciences students at University of Tsukuba. Our laboratory members introduced the research contents at the meeting. The students actively participated and be interest in the presented research, curriculum and campus life.
Two M2 students, Zhu Yunxin and Zhang Cheng participated the 14th lecture meeting, held by Eastern Japan Branch of Society for Biotechnology. The whole discussion was divided in to the oral presentation and student’s discussion. At the seminar, we received the constructive comments and advice not only from an academic aspect but also the industrial point of view. The experiences and academic knowledge shared by professionals contributed to a comprehensive understanding of our research and widened our vision upon the future development of biotechnology field.
At the International Conference on Environmental Protection and Climate Change 2019 (Barcelona, Spain), LIU NA（D3）made research presentation and won the Best presentation award.Congratulations!
As a part of University-High School Collaboration activity, 21 First-year grade students from Sakado Senior High School, affiliated to University of Tsukuba visited our laboratory. We introduced the main research field of our lab and gave a demonstration of the dye photo-degradation using the novel photocatalyst which developed in our lab under real solar light. During the visiting, students listened to the introduction carefully and discussed actively.
We held a Farewell party for ZHAO CHENYU (D3),and also a Welcome party for six freshmen Ming Jie (D1), Liu Zhiyuan (D1), SunXiang (Research student), Zhang Hongjian (Research student), Li Yingtao (Researchstudent) and Sun Mingyuan (Research student) joining our lab in this autumn.
Zhao Chenyu (D3) successfully graduated from the University of Tsukuba and received the dean of the life and environment graduate school award.
At the 2019 International Postgraduate Academic Forum (University of Geosciences), Liu Na (D2), Aditya Sharma (D1), Akiho Yagi (M2), Zhu Yunxin (M2), Zhang Cheng (M2) in our lab gave their oral presentations. For all 101 presenters, Liu Na, Aditya Sharma and Zhang Cheng won the First Prize, Akiho Yagi won the Second Prize, Zhu Yunxin won the Third Prize.
At the 71st Annual Conference of SBJ 2019 in Okayama, LIU NA（D2）, ZHUYUNXIN（M2）and ZHANG CHENG（M2）in our lab gave their oral presentations.
