Activity report

At the 53rd Annual Conference of JSWE 2019 in Kofu, Zhao Chenyu (D3), Zhang Nan (D2), ZhengHanying (D2) and Zhu Yunxin (M1) in our lab gave their oral presentations.

 

 

2019 Chinese culture short-term training was held at Nanjing Agricultural University (the international exchange agreement University of our school) from February 26th to March 9th. Two of our lab members (Daichi Nagai (M2) and Akiho Yagi(M1)) traveled to China and participated in this 12-day training. In addition to the Chinese classes, the program also included experiencing Chinese culture(Tai Chi, Chinese painting, Engraving), Nanjing city sightseeing (Zhongshan Ling, Plum Blossom Mountain, Nanjing Museum and others), and Shanghai city sightseeing.

We held a year-end party of Yang lab at the University and everyone had a good time together. Especially, the students newly joined Yang lab this year, gave a variety of wonderful performance. Merry Christmas!

     

At the 6th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Civil Engineering 2018 (Xiamen, China), Professor Yang Yingnan was invited to give a keynote speech.

         

A briefing session was held for students who were interested in Bioresource and Environmental Engineering Course of University of Tsukuba. Takanori Hiranuma (M2) and AkihoYagi (M1) gave an introduction about our lab.

　　

At the 11th Japan-China- Korea Graduate Student Forum (University of Tsukuba), Zhao Chenyu (D3), Zhang Nan (D2), Liu Na (D2), Zheng Hanying (D2), Ma Qiansu (D1) and Aditya Sharma (D1) in our lab gave their oral presentations. For all 165 presenters, Zhang Nan and Aditya Sharma won the Gold Prize, Zhao Chenyu and Liu Na won the Bronze Prize.

 

                          

In this year September,Qi Ruilin (M2), Zhou Xuehu (M2) and Aditya Sharma (M2) successfully graduated from the University of Tsukuba. And we held a Farewell party for three M2 graduates, and also a Welcome party for two freshmen (Zeng Tianjiao (Exchange student) and Chen Jiayan (Research student)) joining our lab in this autumn.

               

                                   

We held the annual Cherry blossoms viewing at the University of Tsukuba.
