Activity report

A farewell party was held for three graduates including Naoto Ninomiya (Postdoctoral Researcher), Zhu Qi (D3) and Akiho Yagi (B4).

  

Zhu Qi (D3) successfully graduated from the University of Tsukuba and received the dean of the life and environment graduate school award. And Akiho Yagi (B4) successfully received his bachelor’s degree.

 

At the Society of Chemical Engineers, 83rd Annual Meeting (Kansai University, Osaka), seven students of our lab (Zhao Chenyu (D2), Zhang Nan (D1), Zheng Hanying (D1), LiuNa (D1), Aditya Sharma (M2), Qi Ruilin (M2) and Zhou Xuehu (M2)) gave their poster presentations. Also, Zhao Chenyu (D2) won the SCEJ encouragement award.

The 20th Society of Chemical Engineers Students Research Presentation was held at Tokyo University of Science. Akiho Yagi (B4) of our lab joined it and gave an oral presentation. 

 

A briefing session was held for students who were interested in Bioresource and Environmental Engineering Course of University of Tsukuba. Akiho Yagi (B4) gave an introduction about our lab.

 

For 5th time of University of Tsukuba Overseas Collaboration Project, some selected faculty members and students from University of Tsukuba went on a delivery lecture for the Shanghai and Suzhou high school students. Among them, Prof. Yang provided an impressive and vivid introduction about University of Tsukuba and Liu Na (D1) student gave a presentation about her research for Chinese elite high school students.

We held a Farewell party for three M2 graduates, and also a Welcome party for three freshmen (Zheng Hanying (D1),Zhang Cheng (Research student) and Gu Wen (Research student)) joining our lab in this autumn.

      

Ma Qiansu (M2), Gao Haoyuan (M2) and Liu Na (M2) successfully graduated from the University of Tsukuba on September 2017.
